The Brief

Social media is often the first thing a potential client sees — and for small businesses, the Facebook cover and Instagram feed usually have to do the job a full website would. This case study rounds up Facebook cover designs across six brands spanning beauty, fashion, coaching, and photography, plus a closer look at a complete Instagram campaign kit built for a women's safety nonprofit — showing the same designer adapting tone, color, and typography to fit six completely different audiences.

Facebook Covers

Six brands, six visual languages.

Each cover had to work as a first impression — legible at a glance, on-brand with the client's existing colors or photography, and distinct enough to stand out in a crowded feed.

Campaign Deep-Dive

Baji Foundation — a full awareness campaign.

Baji Foundation needed a Facebook cover and a full set of Instagram-ready posts for a women's safety and dignity campaign — every piece had to carry the same teal-and-charcoal palette, dot-pattern texture, and documentary-style photography so the campaign read as one voice across a donor's entire feed.

Design Approach

Every cover started with the client's existing brand cues — a logo, a color, sometimes just a vibe in a brief — and built outward in Photoshop, using real photography wherever it strengthened the message (tulips for a beauty brand, a coach's own headshot, documentary photos of the women Baji Foundation serves). Illustrator handled the icon work and pattern elements, like the node network behind Saree Reveling and the dot-texture backdrop for the Baji Foundation series.

For the nonprofit kit specifically, the goal was repetition with variation — the same teal, the same dot pattern, the same photography style across all eight posts, but each with its own headline and call-to-action, so the campaign felt like a coordinated push rather than eight unrelated graphics.
